Elite Stars Elgin has won the Blair Clarke Memorial Trophy as regular season champions of the St. Thomas Men's Basketball League.
The Stars (13-6) beat Mackie's to 89-65 Wednesday night to clinch the title because even if they finished tied with Cole-Munro, they own a 3-1 head to head record against the Trout.
Rob Wakefield scored 25 points to lead the Stars against a short-handed OrangeAde's team who had to pick up a few guys as the dog-days of the schedule kick in.
Brian Apfelbeck had 20 points and Andrew Lynch added 17 for the winners.
Brent Lale had 20 points for the OrangeAde's (4-15) who continue to struggle to get their entire roster to show up to games.
Cole-Munro Foods knocked Ambrose Plumbing out of title contention with a 79-59 blowout win.
The Trout (12-7) lead after each quarter, and saw their lead continue to grow after each ten minute buzzer.
Ryan Pflanzer led three scorers in double-digits for the Trout with 27 points, while rookie Karsten Groen had 18 and Andrew Cole 17 for the winners.
Tyler Annett was the leading scorer with 23 points and Steve Barton added 11 in the loss for the Plumbers (11-8) who had back to back losses to fall out of contention.
In the other contest, Talbot Trail Physiotherapy beat up on a short-handed Home Hardware team 92-74.
Having to play four on four due to a lack of Home Owners players, the Physiotherapists (9-10) cruised to victory.
Adam Millyard had 36 points, and Alex Packer had 30 points for the winners.
Jonn Leonard had 20 points and Mark Cummings 19 for the Home Owners (8-11).
