Elite Stars Elgin (2-0) used a massive second half to blow out Talbot Trail Physiotherapy Monday night.
Leading by just one, 34-33 at the break, they dominated the third quarter 24-10-, then put up another 23-13 fourth quarter to win it 81-56.
The Stars took avantage of foul trouble by the Phsyiotherapists (1-1) to score at will in the paint, as Rob Wakefield had 13 of his 14 buckets in the paint en route to 28 points.
Brian Apfelbeck had 23 points and Andrew Lynch 15 for the winners.
Alex Packer lead all scorers for TTP with 19 points while Jesse Foster chipped in 14.
Cole-Munro Foods stayed perfect with an 80-47 win over a short-handed Home Hardware team.
The Trout (2-0) held the Home Owners (0-2) to just seven first quarter points, and 19 overall at the break as they lead by 25 at half-time.
Four players scored double-digit points for the Trout lead by Karsten Groen with 21, and Alex Ryan with 20.
The Home Owners were missing three of their top four players, and were outmatched from the opening tip. Mark Cummings had 22 points, with Jack Girden adding 18.
The finale was a slugfest, wtih no free buckets to come by.
WIth both Ambrose Plumbing and Mackie's searching for their first victory, the two teams didn't make it easy on each other.
The Plumbers (1-1) won the war with a 61-42 victory, as they pulled away with a 21-12 third quarter.
Steve Barton had 22 points, Jimmy Hendricksen 16, and Tyler Annett 14 for the Plumbers.
Natre Friesen had 12 points, and Brent Lale 11 for the OrangeAde's (0-2) who are still searching for their first win.
